European Documentation Centre (EDC) network was set by the European Commission at colleges and universities where education on European integration is promoted.
The purpose of the network is to provide primary access to the official publications of the EU for the academic community.
The European Documentation Centre was established in 1999 in the University of Debrecen University and National Library. From 2001, it provides a comprehensive collection.
Nowadays, the EDC offers direct support to the academic community in their research on the European Union.
