Stack Request

 

If you want to borrow or use on site any material from the Stacks, you can initiate a Stack Request.

Stack Request is only available to library members.

Information about Stack Request  

  • The requested documents can be picked up at the specified “Serving Location”   
  • Delivery times vary by the library; it usually takes 10-120 minutes. Check delivery times;
  • The documents will be kept at the desks for one day counted from the date of the request. Then the item will be returned to the stacks.

We send email notifications to the UD Students, Faculty and Staff when your stack request is fulfilled, in case you chose this option during the registration. 

You can sign up or cancel your subscription for the notification email at the registration site

Sending a Stack Request

Online - from the online catalogue

  1.     Click on the “Checkout” button on the book’s catalogue record and enter your Reader’s Barcode and password;
  2.     Fill in the request form and click on the “Send Storage Request” button;
  3.     Wait for the verification message.

In person - at the circulation desks

In this case, you have to fill in a Stack Request form.
