By setting up remote access, you can remotely access the subscribed databases, e-journal, and e-book collections that are normally only accessible from the university or the library premises.
This service is available to UD citizens with a valid library registration. If you do not have a valid library membership, you can register on this page.

Setting up remote access
- Open Settings on your computer
- Go to the Network & Internet menu
- In the left-hand menu, select the Proxy tab
- Under Manual proxy setup, turn on Use a proxy server
- In the Address field, enter: cache.lib.unideb.hu. In the Port field, enter: 3128
University network authentication
Remote access to the subscribed databases is also possible using eduID authentication.
For authentication, UD citizens need to use the username and password they use to log into Neptun.
